本曲由馬克斯·加勒特Marques L. A. Garrett所作，歌詞取材自詩人威廉·亨利·戴維斯（William Henry Davies）的詩作。
全曲充滿激情、節奏感，鼓勵歌手和聽眾 “大聲唱出來！” 他們的歡樂之歌。
然而對比鮮明的中間段落以鋼琴伴奏的節奏能量為基礎，同時由合唱線條探索更多沉思的抒情措辭。在一次回到開頭樂段時呈現歡樂的質感，最後在精彩的和聲層層堆疊中結束全曲。
